Network ports
CoordinatorDB provides a native TCP listener and an optional HTTP listener. Both authenticate SQL access against the configured users file.
Configuration
| Setting | Meaning |
|---|---|
listen_host |
Listener host, default 127.0.0.1. |
tcp_port |
Native TCP port, default 7400. |
http_port |
Enables HTTP when configured; the sample uses 7401. |
Port 0 asks the operating system to choose an available port. Startup output reports the resulting address.
--addr HOST:PORT overrides the native host and port together. --http-addr HOST:PORT independently overrides HTTP. Both listeners bind before the server announces that it is ready.
Protocols
Use the supplied CoordinatorDB client for native TCP. No PostgreSQL, MySQL, interserver or metrics listener is provided. The HTTP listener serves SQL and the browser Playground.
There is no built-in TLS listener. See authentication, HTTP and configuration files for their public access rules.
