Shape result views

Playground result controls change how loaded rows are viewed. They do not rewrite the SQL or send another request. Use WHERE, ORDER BY or LIMIT in SQL when the server should perform those operations.

Inspect rows

  1. Open a column's filter icon and choose an operator and value.
  2. Use a column menu for ascending or descending sorting.
  3. Select cells to copy, or use Copy all rows with no selection.
  4. Export the current filtered and sorted result.

Filters on different columns combine with AND. Search also applies to the loaded rows. Reset filters & sorting clears search as well.

Pages and exports

Console and table Data views show 100-row pages when more than 100 rows match. Sorting, selection and export cover all loaded matching rows, including rows on other pages.

Export supports CSV, JSON, Excel and Parquet. Excel writes wide numbers and composite values as text to preserve their digits. Parquet uses text when a numeric encoding would lose precision.

Column statistics and Columns display result statistics and types. Maximum rows per result in Settings applies to later requests; it is separate from filtering rows already loaded.

See SQL console and HTTP result limits.
