Quickstarts
Each quickstart walks through one task with a small set of sample data. Start a server using the installation guide, then connect to a selected database.
Use a fresh set of table names for each guide. Execute setup statements first, followed by the query whose output is shown. Statements that create or change objects can print acknowledgements in the native client.
Guides
- Create a table: declare types, insert rows and inspect a result.
- Insert with the native client: use literal values or load a local CSV file.
- Write queries: filter inputs, group rows and calculate totals.
- Update and delete rows: change data within an explicit transaction.
- Work with Map values: read, test and replace typed key/value pairs.
